Archives

Created about 1 year ago
Archives immerses us in a vast, red-hued digital expanse where the play of light creates an ever-shifting overhang. Streaks of color cascade down the canvas, evoking the sensation of fragments buried deep within us, their edges eroded by the weight of memory. This transient dominium reveals a tension between the visibility of the present and the obscurity of the past, urging us to reflect on the permanence of what fades and the traces we leave behind. As layers of red and black merge, the piece becomes a meditation on the records of our existence and the residual marks of history, drawing us into a shared exploration of the fleeting and enduring aspects of who we are. This artwork is part of the Segments approach, each loop invites the viewer in the liminal space between reality and abstraction. Rendered from a custom performative system, each 100s 4K H.264 loop blends 3D structures, displacements, and transparency, forming layered depths and a hovering motion.
